Will I feel comfortable?
We strive to create space for women inclusive of race, ethnicity, religion, & gender identity. We value an open, kind, and accepting space as we all learn and grow. Join us in creating a safe space for reflection & personal growth to all who attend. We ask that confidentiality is maintained. What is said by another is not shared outside the retreat unless permission is explicitly given.
Why do you have an application and consultation?
Our initial interview and application helps me ensure that everyone attending is a good fit for our event and our supportive circle of women. My experience running groups, retreats, and serving as a leader in many organizations has given me the experience and skills to facilitate a supportive environment. I will respond to any concerns swiftly and with care to all concerns.
Can I bring a friend?
You are welcome to bring a friend as this may help you feel more comfortable, though make sure your ability to share openly is your priority when making that choice.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds due to cancellation are assessed on a case by case basis. To start a cancellation and request a refund, emails us at hello@windowstowisdom.com. Windows to Wisdom reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any retreat due to insufficient registrations, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such situations, you will be notified up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the retreat. If the retreat is canceled, registered attendees will get a FULL REFUND of the amount paid for any retreat. All refunds will be processed within 10 working days. Cancellations by 8/31/24 may receive a full refund once approved. Cancellations before 9/19/24 may receive a credit towards other courses & retreats. No refunds will be issued after 9/19/24.
Should I get travel insurance?
This is up to your discretion. We strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance with a CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) clause to protect yourself in case your flight is canceled due to inclement weather, or should an emergency occur making you unable to attend. Refunds will not be issued due to incoming flight delays and/or cancellations.
Will there be alcohol or other substances allowed at the event?
This will be an opportunity for everyone to be clear minded and have fun without any substances involved. No alcohol, smoking, vaping, or other drugs permitted at the retreat. Please speak openly with me if you think this would be difficult for you. I have great suggestions for how to prepare ahead.

While we can't guarantee specific outcomes due to the personal nature of this work, we promise to go above and beyond to ensure you have the tools, support, and opportunities needed for a meaningful and impactful experience.
If you feel your needs aren't being met during the retreat, we encourage you to speak up immediately so we can address your concerns. In the unlikely event that you're unsatisfied by the end of the retreat, Jamie will schedule a one-on-one consultation with you to discuss your experience and find a resolution.
